Served in the U. S. Army Signal Corps; received Presidential Meritorious
Unit Citation w/ two oak leaf clusters; the Republic of Korea commendation among other medals; signed the ceasefire and peace accord in Korea.

Author of “Remembering the 304th Signal Battalion in the Forgotten War”
Author of many national magazine articles – lots of photo-travel.
Wrote feature articles for college publications and was college yearbook sect editor

Been writing since I was sixteen

Co-founder of Santa Maria Civic Theater and designer and writer of theater playbills.

Worked as background in Tom Hanks and Robert DeNiro movies

Interests include writing, stage, photography, geology, law

Have met many movie stars either by purpose or by chance:
Incidental—When I worked at Desmond’s (in ivy league and military uniforms) an exclusive men’s fashion store, movie stars brought their sons to be outfitted for military schools.  The sales floor had pyramidal display units with bottom drawer storage. I retrieved something from a drawer and
sprang up to return to a customer, but smashed right into the face of Gregory Peck. I  apologized for ten minutes.
